Core Confidence Maths Year 5/6 Course Taster Sessions

Core Confidence Maths helps children in Years 5 and  6 develop strong maths skills and the confidence to use them. With a calm, nurturing approach, lessons focus on developing learners who understand well, feel capable, and look forward to maths lessons.

Perfect for children who:

• Want to enter middle or high school performing to their full potential in Maths 
• Would benefit from a personalised learning experience
• Need clear, confidence-building strategies

Your child will follow a tailored programme to strengthen core maths skills in

• The number system and place value
• Mental and written methods of calculation
• Problem solving and the language of maths
• Explaining process and checking accuracy

Included:

• Weekly small group sessions- no more than four children- run in half termly blocks to fit with local authority term dates
• Personalised learning plans tailored to your child's needs
• Expert teaching and guidance from a primary maths specialist
• Regular progress updates and parent consultations

4:00-4:50pm

Friday 16th January- Friday 13th February 2026

Cost:

£25 per session.
