How it works
Courses:
Your journey with Clear Tuition begins with a taster session. We like you to have the peace of mind of making sure the style and pace works for you and your child before you commit to a whole course. From here, you can book for further sessions if you like, or continue looking for your best fit with no pressure.
Weekly sessions are grouped into course blocks that correspond with Worcestershire/Warwickshire school terms. You can find information on what courses are currently available here.
No two courses are the same. Content will be adapted to your child’s needs to help them flourish and succeed. We understand that learning happens developmentally, and all courses are open to students of all ages, whether they need an extra challenge or would benefit from knowledge consolidation.
Learning Providers: to enquire about the successful Creative Pathways Programme for schools and alternative provision, please contact me to arrange a meeting. I have limited availability until Summer Term but currently have slots on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings.
Core Confidence Maths Course:
Small group learning, with no more than four children.
Clear Confidence English Course:
Small group learning, with no more than four children.
Creative Pathways Course:
Small group learning, with no more than eight children.
Session Times:
Core sessions run from 4:00- 4:50 and 5:00-5:50. The 50-minute period maintains student engagement and prevents mental fatigue associated with longer classes. It also allows for children staying for both sessions to have a break.
Sessions allow for smooth transitions and allow time for parent/tutor catch ups. I am always on site from 3:45 to 6:15 and you are always most welcome to come and see me before or after sessions.
Creative Pathways sessions run from 4:00- 5:50 and all materials are provided.
Parent/Tutor Consultations:
Having the opportunity to share your child’s learning journey with you is very important to us. In addition to opportunities to catch up before and after sessions, a parent/tutor consultation is included with each course. You can opt to take this as online or via phone call, to suit you.
Location:
Tutoring sessions take place on Zoom and in Pebworth Village Hall (CV37 8XA) on the Warwickshire/Worcestershire border, in a brand new extension that’s a perfect space for learning: clear, calm and adaptable. We have a large free car park, and the building is disability accessible.
